MANNS WINES SOLARIS CHIKUMAGAWA CHARDONNAY TARUJIKOMI

Solaris Chikuma River Chardonnay Barrel-Aged uses Chardonnay from vineyards managed and contracted in the Osato district of Komoro City, located in the eastern Chikuma River Wine Valley in Nagano Prefecture.
Manns Wine was one of the first to start cultivating European grapes in this region, and some of the vines are over 30 years old.
The wine is brewed using the barrel-aged method, where it is fermented and aged in barrels.
A combination of new and aged barrels is used to create a wine with a good balance of delicate fruitiness and moderate oak aromas.

tasting note

The appearance is pale yellow with a slight grayish tint.
It has a very fresh and beautiful aroma from the top. Fruity aromas of peach, apple, and pineapple dominate, with a subtle aroma of oak.
The attack is soft, with a moderate acidity and a full-bodied flavor.
It also has a rich aftertaste with a pleasant lingering aroma.
